FAQs

  • 1. Why should I choose Tibetan Sitter?
Kindness, Compassion and Patience Tibetan Sitter is founded on those virtues. Finding you a nanny who's trustworthy and hardworking is extremely important for us, but equally important is finding someone who is compassionate and mindful. Children need to be connected to good deeds through tangible examples rather than just words, so that they have strong models of good behavior. We aim to find nannies who measure up to those high moral standards. Cultural Competency Tibetan Sitter understands that the United States today is a mix of cultures, and that the California Bay Area is one of the most culturally diverse areas in the country. We aim to find nannies who understand the families’ cultural needs—in terms, for example, of values, music, food, games, and festivals. We ensure that a nanny’s sense of responsibility is governed by strong moral bearings, open-mindedness, and belief in the family. Experience and Networking Tibetan Sitter’s founder, Tenzin Choedon, has been a nanny herself for more than 5 years; she knows the qualities and strengths to look for to find the right match for the family. Tenzin also has close network of wonderful nannies around Bay Area, which helps her locate qualified and experienced nannies faster. A Streamlined Search Our focus is not just offering our service but making the experience as smooth and satisfying as possible. We make the process simple yet safe by referring highly vetted nanny candidates at a competitive and reasonable fee.
